Do you want to continue living paycheck to paycheck? If the answer is No, then I suggest you follow these steps. In order to get ahead, you have to think outside the box, and surround yourself around people who have a mindset of becoming a millionaire. Just because you work, doesn't mean you are always going to have enough money to cover your expenses, unless you're just working for fun. If your only income is one or two minimum wage paying jobs, then you are going to fall short. Today's cost of living is outrageous, making it hard for people to maintain their bills without struggling. No one wants to be depressed, feel helpless, or stressed out because they have little to no money to cover every single bill that they have. Changing your mindset plays a big part of your stream of income. You must work and find a job that is higher paying then the one you are currently stressing yourself over. This may not work for everybody because some people see things differently than others and that's ok. Not everyone is going to think the same, but as long as you have a plan then you should stick to it.
The next step you want to take is to educate yourself. Learning about the business you are interested in and want to start will help you plan better decisions. Some people are lucky to start a business one day and wake up the next day in a better situation then they were the night before. As for others, you must continue to push yourself until you find your audience that is going to support you no matter what. Everyone doesn't want to see you win, instead they snoop around looking for ideas that you've suggested and apply it to themselves so it could only benefit them.
It's only a select few of people that will support you only because they know you. The main support majority of the time is going to come from people that don't even know you. Change your job, and find yourself a small business that you know people are interested in learning more about, and build your own audience. Starting small doesn't mean anything because there are people out there that is always looking for what you have to offer. Motivate and encourage yourself daily to be better than what you were yesterday.
Everyday you wake up you should want more than what you already have. Never settle for how you were in the past, or how people looked down on you growing up. Change the game and show them who they thought you were going to be forever. Move in silence and make your life better by doing whatever you have to do to survive.
Another way to increase your stream of income is to cut expenses you don't need. You can do without the extra expenses that you accumulate on a monthly basis. It's ok to buy yourself things because you deserve to treat yourself every chance you get. Be mindful that you don't always have to treat yourself when you know you don't have the Ching Ching to buy you Bling Bling.
Manage what you have and apply it to an essential that you know you need and can't live without. Dinner dates, shopping, partying, etc. or whatever it is that you spend your extra money on can go into savings because you don't need extra expenses when you barely making the cash, so cut it off! Don't try to keep up with the Joneses and you know the rent due with the next paycheck you get. You can live without those things that you want, but you really don't need. Have you heard the saying "the more money you spend, the more you will receive". What they didn't tell you what the saying is really implementing is that you should spend your money on the things that will benefit you. If you don't need it then don't add it to the list of expenses that you already have and trying to get rid of.
Lastly, make connections with people instead of being involved with the same people all your life. Meeting different people will help you in the end to meet those who are successful, and doesn't mind helping another person succeed. Networking is the key. Sometimes it's not about what you know, but who you know. Invest your time, your money, your energy into people who have been in the situation as you and willing to help you overcome the obstacles that you are facing. Get out your comfort zone because you have to interact with people in order to become successful. Trust the process and stay focus because a closed mouth won't get fed. If you never reach out to someone that for certain will motivate you, then you're missing out on the opportunity that will benefit you in the future. Making small talk with other people will give you an idea on how you can get different streams of income. Most people will talk to you and share some of the things that they've done which worked for them. Find things around the house that is no use to you and sell it. Spread the word to people you work with, or people you don't know and perhaps they will mention it to someone who is willing to purchase those things that may benefit them. Money is all around you believe it or not. You have to stay positive and think like the rich and wealthy folk. In order to want better you have to do better and make strategies on how you can live the successful lifestyle without worrying about your bills being due.
